The Toothbrush & Toothpaste Dental Care Kit for Puppies offers daily protection for your puppy's teeth, resulting in fresher breath and healthy gums. Beaphar Toothpaste contains two enzymes that fight bacteria and break down plaque.
The soft-grip toothbrush is small enough for most puppies, and has different length bristles to help you to reach all your puppy's teeth, even the hard-to-reach areas in their mouth. The toothbrush bristles are soft and flexible for optimal protection of the gums.
Beaphar Toothpaste is fluoride-free and readily accepted by puppies due to its delicious liver flavour.

Instructions
ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LABEL AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE.
It is important to introduce your puppy to teeth cleaning slowly. The following steps should be achieved gradually. Do not move onto the next step until your puppy is happy with the current step. The duration and frequency of each step needs to be built up steadily to avoid teeth cleaning becoming a stressful experience for both you and your puppy.
1. Lift your puppy's lips to expose the teeth. Reinforce this by giving them lots of praise.
2. Once your puppy is used to having their mouth touched on the outside, start running your finger along their teeth.
3. When they are accustomed to this, introduce them to a small amount of Beaphar Puppy Toothpaste. Place some on your finger, allowing them to lick it off. The toothpaste is liver-flavoured and most pets love it.
4. When they are used to the taste and texture of the toothpaste, and having their mouth touched you can start to introduce the Beaphar Puppy Toothbrush. To do this, simply wet the bristles on the toothbrush and place some Beaphar Toothpaste on it.
5. Allow your puppy to investigate and lick the delicious liver-flavoured toothpaste off the toothbrush. Be sure to give them plenty of praise.
6. When they are comfortable with each of the steps, it is time to combine all elements of the training. Start by brushing a few teeth on this session and gradually build-up each time until all their teeth can be cleaned.
Replace the toothbrush after three months, or sooner if the bristles look worn. By this time your puppy should be ready to move onto the Beaphar Toothbrush.
Always have fresh drinking water available.

Most orders are despatched the same day and standard delivery is 3 to 5 working days from despatch. FAST Expedited options are available at extra cost - these usually arrive in 24-48hrs from dispatch but delays are possible during busy periods.
Postcodes outside of Zone 1 (including some areas within mainland UK) may incur extra carriage charges due to surcharges imposed by the couriers. These will be calculated on the website at the checkout.
NB: Orders placed with faster delivery must be placed before 13:00 to ensure same day dispatch (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Please also check on the product page that the items ordered show 'In Stock' otherwise your order will be delayed until the stock becomes available, which in most cases will only be 24hrs.

Refrigerated Items
Refrigerated items will be sent by carrier or express delivery at a cost of £7.50, with coolpacks, unless you pay for a premium for a refrigerated delivery. We will contact you prior to despatch for your instructions.
We want you to be completely satisfied with any purchase. If not any item* can be returned to us within 14 days of receipt for exchange or refund Please give us a ring for a returns number on 01833 641112 or alternatively email sales@hyperdrug.co.uk to obtain a returns number.
*Due to legal requirements medicines may not be returned except to correct an error in despatch or in response to an "official recall". If an item is believed to be faulty it should be returned for inspection and it may be necessary to forward it to the manufacturers for testing before replacements or refunds can be authorised.
