Environmental Larvicidal Effect
Advantage also has an environmental larvicidal effect, controlling the flea lifecycle in the pet's surroundings. This means that it not only kills the fleas on your pet, but also prevents new fleas from hatching and developing.
Usage Instructions
- Spot on flea treatment, part hair and apply between shoulder blades where cat cannot lick off
- Repeat treatment after four weeks. - Do not treat more frequently than weekly if re-treatment is necessary.
Re-infestation and Environmental Considerations
- Re-infestation from new fleas in the environment may continue for six weeks or longer after treatment initiation.
- Multiple treatments may be required, depending on the level of fleas in the environment.
- Additional use of an environmental treatment for the house such as Indorex Flea Spray against adult fleas and developing stages is recommended.
- Treating all cats, dogs, and rabbits in the household is advised to reduce environmental challenges.
Effectiveness in Wet Conditions
The product remains effective if the animal becomes wet, such as after heavy rain or swimming (for dogs). However, re-treatment may be necessary based on the presence of fleas in the environment. In such cases, do not treat more frequently than once weekly.

- Treating a nursing queen with Advantage provides protection against fleas for the entire litter.
- Suitable for kittens from 8 weeks of age and young rabbits from the age of 10 weeks.

Most orders are despatched the same day and standard delivery is 3 to 5 working days from despatch. FAST Expedited options are available at extra cost - these usually arrive in 24-48hrs from dispatch but delays are possible during busy periods.
Postcodes outside of Zone 1 (including some areas within mainland UK) may incur extra carriage charges due to surcharges imposed by the couriers. These will be calculated on the website at the checkout.
