Moulting is a natural process and most cats and dogs will moult once or twice a year. However, excessive moulting can be a problem and can cause an embarrasment in coping with unsightly hairs around the house. Allergies, central heating and early warm weather can all have an effect on a cats or dogs natural moulting cycle.
Vitapet Moult Formula Coat Conditioner is a unique blend of natural oils rich in Omega-6 fatty acids. Research indicates that supplementing the diet with the Omega-6 nutrients will help to reduce excessive moulting by replenishing the natural oil levels in the body.
Omega-6 nutrients will help keep the coat in all round excellent condition by helping to protect it from the outside elements.

Feeding Recommendations
Do not exceed the daily recommendations. Mix the following amounts daily with food using a 5ml teaspoon.
Adults
Cats 5ml Small Breed Dogs (up to 5kg) 2.5ml - 5ml Medium Breed Dogs (5kg - 25kg) 5ml - 7.5ml Large Breed Dogs (25kg - 35kg) 7.5ml - 10ml Very Large Breed Dogs (Over 35kg) 10ml - 15ml
Puppies - At the start of weaning add a few drops into the mouth. When weaned, increase to 10ml (2 teaspoons) per 500g (1lb) of dry type food.
Kittens - At the start of weaning add a few drops into the mouth. When weaned, increase to <5ml (1 teaspoon) per 250g (1/2lb) of dry type food.
Bitches in whelp - Adult amount twice daily.
Suitable for puppies over twelve weeks. When introducing the oil to your pets diet for the first time, do this gradually, building up to the correct daily recommendation.
Use the lower amount for general maintenance. The higher rate should be fed to pregnant bitches/whelping bitches. For cats use the higher rate in winter and for queens in kitten. If any other Vitapet conditioner is being fed at the same time, reduce the amount of it by half and maintain the above recommendations.
