SmartLick contains a blend of essential vitamins and minerals to help maintain ideal condition for every horse and pony, plus a yeast based prebiotic to support beneficial intestinal bacteria. Using SmartLick ensures that your horse or pony can access the vitamins and minerals when they need them, providing a natural ‘little and often' approach to feeding.
SmartLick has been manufactured in accordance with the BETA NOPS code and therefore monitored for the presence of specified Naturally Occurring Prohibited Substances (NOPS) as required under the rules of racing and other affiliated competitions.
Adherence to these guidelines ensures that the risk of occurrence of such substances is minimised.
SmartLick is a poured block supplying an essential blend of vitamins and minerals with a tasty vanilla flavouring for improved palatability. It has been formulated to have a combined sugar and starch level of less than 30% with a starch level of less than 10% and a sugar level of 20%. When considering sugar levels, it's important to remember the overall sugar taken in the day, so the 20% of sugar in SmartLick when fed to a 500kg horse at recommended intakes of 250g per day will only provide 50g of sugar per day, which is similar to two large apples and the 9.25% starch will contribute only 23.2g of starch to the diet which is just less than two Weetabix! The intake from SmartLick will be gradual over the day unlike the apples or Weetabix which will be rapidly consumed. SmartLick is a high quality, cost effective, weatherproof solution for feeding horses and ponies, providing vitamins, minerals and trace elements whether at grass or stabled, in work or leisure, young or old.
Vanilla flavouring was chosen as it is one of the preferred flavours when palatability trials have been conducted on horses. SmartLick was concluded to be highly palatable in field trials conducted over several locations with numerous different equines.

Most orders are despatched the same day and standard delivery is 3 to 5 working days from despatch. FAST Expedited options are available at extra cost - these usually arrive in 24-48hrs from dispatch but delays are possible during busy periods.
Postcodes outside of Zone 1 (including some areas within mainland UK) may incur extra carriage charges due to surcharges imposed by the couriers. These will be calculated on the website at the checkout.
NB: Orders placed with faster delivery must be placed before 13:00 to ensure same day dispatch (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Please also check on the product page that the items ordered show 'In Stock' otherwise your order will be delayed until the stock becomes available, which in most cases will only be 24hrs.

Refrigerated items will be sent by carrier or express delivery at a cost of £7.50, with coolpacks, unless you pay for a premium for a refrigerated delivery. We will contact you prior to despatch for your instructions.

*Due to legal requirements medicines may not be returned except to correct an error in despatch or in response to an "official recall". If an item is believed to be faulty it should be returned for inspection and it may be necessary to forward it to the manufacturers for testing before replacements or refunds can be authorised. This does not infringe legal rights. Please contact our customer services for a "Returns Number" which must appear on the outside of the package or it will not be accepted.
