Panacur Granules for Horses and Donkeys
Panacur granules contain fenbendazole. Last 6-8 weeks. One sachet will treat 300kg bodyweight. In relative terms that means that two sachets are equal to one Panacur Horse Wormer Paste.The granules are easily mixed with feed for easy administration. Suitable for pregnant and lactating mares.

Routine Treatment
- Route: Administer orally
- Dosage: 5g per 150kg body weight (7.5mg fenbendazole/kg)
Dosage by Weight
- Up to 150kg: 5g
- 151-300kg: 10g
- 301-450kg: 15g
- 451-600kg: 20g
- 601-750kg: 25g
- 751-900kg: 30g

- Thoroughbreds & Other Breeds up to 600kg: 2 sachets
- Heavy Hunters & Draft Horses: 3 sachets

Special Treatments
Five-Day Course
- Purpose: For encysted larval infections
- Dosage: 5g per 150kg body weight daily for 5 days (7.5mg fenbendazole/kg)
Single-Dose Treatments
- For small strongyles: 20g per 150kg (30mg fenbendazole/kg)
- For large strongyles: 40g per 150kg (60mg fenbendazole/kg)
Young Foals (2-3 weeks old)
- Condition: Diarrhoea caused by Strongyloides westeri
- Treatment: Use Panacur 10% Suspension
- Dosage: 25 ml per 50kg (50mg fenbendazole/kg)
How to Administer
- Mix With Feed: Sprinkle granules onto concentrate or grain feed. Administer as a single dose.
- Weight Accuracy: Ensure the most accurate body weight for correct dosage.
Recommended Schedule
- Routine Worming: Every 6-8 weeks
- Seasonal Treatment: Autumn and Spring for encysted larvae
- Exception: Horses with unknown worming history or those failing to maintain condition can be treated any time.
