Nutritional value:
D-Biotin (the most bioactive isomer of Biotin) is an essential nutrient for numerous enzyme systems associated with growth, bone development and epidermal tissue integrity.
Methionine, as an essential amino acid, plays a role in cysteine synthesis, the primary rate-limiting amino acid for keratin synthesis.
Zinc, a component of more than 200 enzymes, is vital for overall cellular function. Suboptimal levels of the above can lead to hoof, skin and coat issues.
Selenium and manganese are incorporated into powerful biological antioxidants.
Usage:
Complementary feeding stuff for horses:
Used daily, EQUISTRO® KERABOL BIOTIN can help stimulate hoof and hair metabolism thus favouring a shiny coat and healthy hooves that are supple and not brittle.
Recommended administration:
Add EQUISTRO® KERABOL BIOTIN to the feed or drinking water. Administer daily, can be used long term, for further advice consult your veterinary surgeon.
Standard sized horses - (500 kg) 1 scoop (= 15 g) per day
Light horses - ½ scoop (= 7.5 g) per day
Ponies - 1/4 scoop (= 3.75 g) per day
Foals - half of the above administration
