DESCRIPTION:
Ark-Klens is a safe and efficient cleanser, disinfectant and deodoriser. At the recommended dilutions Ark-Klens is non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-staining and non-irritant. Ark-Klens is recommended for the routine cleansing and disinfection of animal housing (cages, hutches and vivarium), food dishes, drinking bowls and work surfaces.
The strong family of chemicals that make up the concentrate are effective against bacteria (E.coli, Salmonella), viruses (lipophilic and flu) and a range of fungi, and protects against dieases such as Psittacosis. These properties make Ark-Klens suitable for disinfection of bird environments and can also be used safely as a disinfectant for bird and chicken eggs and incubators. It can be of particular use in exotic bird quarantine situations due to the efficacy against Chlamydia.
Whilst the primary use for Ark-Klens is for animal products, customers have also used this in their home environment to disinfect worktops and desks. If you do wish to use the product in this way please ensure you test it on a small area of the surface you are cleaning to check there is no reaction.
PROPER USE:
For general cleansing and disinfection on a routine basis use at a rate of 10ml / 5 litres (1 gallon) water. Allow a contact time of 3-4 minutes before rinsing off. If you are using Ark-Klens concentrate to refill your Ark-Klens ready to use dispenser, dilute at a rate of 10ml / 500ml water, but reduce the contact time to 1 minute before wiping off due to the higher concentration. For total disinfection weekly or monthly depending on the circumstances, we recommend the use of the anti-viral, anti-fungal disinfectant Tamodine-E after preliminary cleansing with Ark-Klens.
Keep out of reach of children. Not to be swallowed. If the concentrate comes into contact with skin or eyes rinse well with water. In case of an accident seek medical advice immediately.

Most orders are despatched the same day and standard delivery is 3 to 5 working days from despatch. FAST Expedited options are available at extra cost - these usually arrive in 24-48hrs from dispatch but delays are possible during busy periods.
Postcodes outside of Zone 1 (including some areas within mainland UK) may incur extra carriage charges due to surcharges imposed by the couriers. These will be calculated on the website at the checkout.
NB: Orders placed with faster delivery must be placed before 13:00 to ensure same day dispatch (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Please also check on the product page that the items ordered show 'In Stock' otherwise your order will be delayed until the stock becomes available, which in most cases will only be 24hrs.
