ProZinc 40 IU/ml Suspension for Injection for Cats and Dogs
What is it?
ProZinc contains protamine zinc insulin and is used to treat diabetes mellitus in cats and dogs.
ProZinc is a 40 IU/ml suspension and should be used with ProZinc® syringes, which are correctly
calibrated for ProZinc®. Other syringes may not be appropriately calibrated and can lead to dosing
inaccuracies.
ProZinc is available in a 10 ml vial that needs to be stored upright in a refrigerator (2°C – 8°C).
How is it administered?
ProZinc should be administered by injection under the skin.
