Animal prescriptions only – how to send your prescription

  1. Place your order on the website
    Prescriptions cannot be processed unless an order has already been placed.
    If you have not yet ordered, please return to the website and place your order before uploading a prescription.

2. Upload your prescription

You may upload animal prescriptions for non-controlled medicines, including human medicines prescribed for animals below

Please do not upload:

  • human prescriptions

  • NHS prescriptions

  • prescriptions for controlled drugs 

The original 'wet ink' signature copy must be sent by post. Hyperdrug, Station Bank, Middleton In Teesdale, Barnard Castle, DL12 0NG

If we already hold a valid prescription for your order, do not re-upload it.

3. Check your prescription is valid

  • Prescriptions should be less than 3 months old, or

  • If over 3 months old, they must not have been fully used.
    We may need to contact you to verify older prescriptions before dispensing.

Important information

  • We dispense private and veterinary prescriptions only

  • NHS prescriptions are not accepted

  • Uploading a prescription does not guarantee supply until it has been checked and approved
