The Panacur 1.8g sachet is a potent 22% granulate formulation of Fenbendazole wormer for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens which can be mixed with food for ease of use. Every gram of Panacur dog wormer Granules delivers 0.22 g of the active ingredient, Fenbendazole, and will treat roundworm and tapeworm in dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.
Uses
As a broad-spectrum anthelmintic, Panacur is ideal for treating domestic dogs and cats plagued with immature and mature stages of roundworms in the gastro-intestinal and respiratory tracts. Another major advantage of using Panacur is its ovicidal impact on nematode eggs, providing comprehensive protection.
Dosage and Administration for 1.8g Sachet
Routine Treatment of Adult Dogs and Cats:
The 1.8g sachet of Panacur covers a treatment span for a 4kg (8.8lb) bodyweight as a single dose, ranging from 2.2 to 4.4kg.
Weaned Puppies and Kittens Under Six Months of Age:
For young puppies and kittens, the Panacur 1.8g sachet can treat up to 8kg (17.6lb) bodyweight when dosed daily for three consecutive days, spanning between 4.5 and 8kg.
An example dosage for a 9kg dog would entail a combination of a 4kg dose (1g sachet) and an 8kg dose (1.8g sachet) administered daily for 3 consecutive days.
Pregnant Bitches:
The Panacur 1.8g sachet is also beneficial for pregnant bitches, capable of treating a 16kg (35.2lb) bodyweight when dosed daily for approximately 25 days.
