Geoff qualified as a pharmacist from London Universtity and specialises in both human and veterinary medicine with post graduate qualifications from Queens University Belfast, moving to Thirsk North Yorkshire in 1994 he made the decision to specialise in veterinary medicine. Hyperdrug moved to Middleton In Teesdale in 2001.

Hyperdrug continue to sell animal medicines and other products such as dog coats and horse rugs online and by phone and Geoff is happy to give his expert advice on flea treatments, wormers and prescription medicines to our customers.
Geoff expanded the business in 2005 adding an increased warehouse area as well as specialised sterile clean rooms for Hyperdrugs manufacturing.
Geoff was a leading figure on the competition comissions investigation into the monopoly by vets which enabled pet and horse owners to obtain prescription medicines from pharmacies such as Hyperdrug.
During Covid as well as delivering urgent prescripton medicines, and other urgent medical and pet supplies such as dog and cat food around the country, Geoff turned the manufacturing capacity of Hyperdrug to produce hand sanitise during a nationwide shortage.
Geoff is highly regarded in the veterinary industry as a pharmacist and is often aproached by news sources in radio, tv and newspapers for his expertise.
