Rest & Recover Gold is formulated from the finest quality plant extracts that will be quickly and easily assimilated by the horse's digestive system. So you can be confident that your horse can Rest – with herbal calmers to help maintain a steady and relaxed nervous system, and Recover – with herbs to support and maintain the musculo-skeletal, digestive, circulatory and lymphatic systems.
Following box rest, it has proved useful to use on initial turnout following box rest, and some owners of veteran horses find it a useful supplement if their older horse becomes a little anxious about life in general but also needs mobility support.
Our liquid Gold supplements are generally effective within approximately two weeks.
Ingredients:
1:3 tinctures of "The Herbal Bute" Devils Claw root (not phenylbutazone), Valerian root, Meadowsweet herb, Chamomile flowers, Hawthorn berries, Vervain herb and Cleaver herb with Apple Cider Vinegar .
Our herbal supplements are added to the feed on a daily basis, if possible splitting the required amount between two feeds. Our liquid supplements could be given direct into the mouth (by way of a syringe) which can be useful if no feed is given during the Summer months.
Directions for use: we suggest to make allowance for type.
Up to 12.2hh : 5mls twice daily (10mls)
12.2hh to 14.2hh: 10mls twice daily (20mls)
14.2hh to 15.2hh : 12.5mls twice daily (25mls)
15.2hh to 16.2hh : 15mls twice daily (30mls)
16.2hh+ : 15mls to 20mls twice daily (30 to 40mls)
How much do I have give? The amount of herbs you need to give is generally dependent on the height of your horse, with some allowance for type.

Most orders are despatched the same day and standard delivery is 3 to 5 working days from despatch. FAST Expedited options are available at extra cost - these usually arrive in 24-48hrs from dispatch but delays are possible during busy periods.
Postcodes outside of Zone 1 (including some areas within mainland UK) may incur extra carriage charges due to surcharges imposed by the couriers. These will be calculated on the website at the checkout.
NB: Orders placed with faster delivery must be placed before 13:00 to ensure same day dispatch (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Please also check on the product page that the items ordered show 'In Stock' otherwise your order will be delayed until the stock becomes available, which in most cases will only be 24hrs.
