Description
Beaphar Ear Drops are an effective, affordable medicine containing pyrethrum to treat common ear mite infestations, such as Otodectes cynotis, in cats and dogs.
Symptoms of mild, common ear mite infestations include scratching at the ears, head shaking or dark, dry, waxy debris in one or both ears. Beaphar Ear Drops will soften the ear wax, soothe the irritation caused by the mites and kill common ear mites affecting your cat or dog's ears.
Suitable for cats and dogs from 12 weeks of age.
IMPORTANT: Beaphar Ear Drops are not suitable for treating severe ear infestations. If there is a heavy, strong-smelling discharge, serious inflammation, swelling or pain with severe scratching, head shaking or tilting you MUST seek veterinary attention.

Instructions
ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LABEL AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE.
Always treat both ears, even if symptoms are not present in both.
Cats: 3 drops in each ear
Very small dogs: 3 drops in each ear
Small dogs: 4 drops in each ear
Medium dogs: 5 drops in each ear
Large dogs: 6 drops in each ear
The drops should be gently warmed to body temperature by holding the bottle in your hand for a few minutes before use.
1. Shake the bottle well before use.
2. Hold your pet firmly but gently and carefully place the nozzle of the bottle into the top of your pet's ear canal.
3. Squeeze the required number of drops into the ear.
4. Hold your pet's head on one side for 15–20 seconds to allow drops to penetrate the ear canal, gently massaging the base of the ear (from the outside) before allowing your pet to shake its head.
Use daily for seven days. To ensure complete clearance of mites, the treatment may be extended for a further seven days.
IMPORTANT: Never probe inside the ears as this can cause pain and injury. Any discharge on the outer surface of the ears may be wiped away gently with cotton wool.
